As the Coral Anthelia berthed at Gate terminal B.V. in The Netherlands, it marked the 100th time an LNG carrier had arrived at the terminal.
Coral Anthelia, part of Anthony Veder’s fleet of modern gas carriers, entered the terminal for a small scale LNG load operation during CWC’s Small-Mid Scale LNG Summit on 25 June. The Summit offered an exclusive site visit to Gate terminal B.V. to see the development of the terminal’s LNG Break-Bulk project.
A great example of land to ship bunkering by truck was also demonstrated with thanks by one of the Summits key sponsors Bomin Linde LNG. The truck to ship bunkering was for one of the two seagoing ferries which Bomin Linde has under contract. Bomin Linde is able to load trucks both in Zeebrugge and also at Gate terminal. The truckloading was the first load by Bomin Linde at Gate terminal.
